Asta Designs Inc. was founded by Larry and Asta Scowra in 2002. Asta was born and raised in Lithuania and came to the United States in 1990 to see the country and visit for a year. While visiting she met Larry and the rest is history. They have been been married for 26 years now and reside in Algonquin Illinois with their two cats Kiko and Pinch. Asta is a designer working with multitude of vendors and designer workrooms, Larry is managing installations and day to day operations. Asta loves working in design field and she always was drawn to creative work. After moving permanently to United States she studied Fashion Design and worked in fashion industry but it wasn't exactly what she wanted to do till she found her calling in interior design and her niche in designing custom window treatments. Since early childhood Asta been thought by her mom, grandmother and aunt how to sew, do home crafts and was always creating for her own and her friends interiors. She loves working with people and making home spaces even more beautiful. Asta pays great attention to detail and has vision for finished product. Asta loves what she does and it shows in her designs and fast growing business.
